My name is Jessie - and even though sometimes I don't where life is going. I don't give up. I hold on and ride it like a roller coaster. I try to fill my life with friends, who care about me and share similar options and dreams. But at the end of the day, I don't need anyone's approval but mine. I use this journal for my personal journal & my icon journal (using friend filters) so when you comment to be added let me know what you want to see :)

I've tried to love, and I've lost. But I'm going to keep hunting till I find the one to make the other part of me.

I try to smile and be happy, no matter what because life sucks when you're sad.

Never give up, on your dreams. Because at the end of the day there will always be hope.

Homosexual Marriage: I know that this tend to be a touchy issue, and you might say that I’m bias because I’m gay, but none the less… I feel that I am the same as anyone else, and that if I find the person I think that I can spend the rest of my life with ... then why shouldn't I be allowed to take them for better or for worse, to have and to hold, until death do us part?

Also what’s with Civil Unions? It’s like you are trying to give up a runner up spot, oh you found love – but It’s not someone of the opposite sex here’s your consolation prize! "Thanks for trying to get married, but you're gay".

Abortion:Another touchy, yet important issue. I personally, see that there are reasons that you would want to do this, If I were a woman, I personally would never be able to do it, but I still respect a woman’s rights to choose.

People who are fakes; I know that we can't always be perfect and that there are things that we don't like about ourselves, but we can't erase that. If there is something about you that you want to change, you are the ONLY person who can change you. Please don't pretend to be anyone other than you. Make yourself be a special twinkle in someone eye instead of being
the same twinkle.

People that don't respect others who deserve it.---Looking around the world, you see others suffer, you see them work their asses off to support their families. Look at your environment, clean up after yourself. Make it easier for those whose job it is to clean up after you. They work 10x harder then you most likely do for money 10x less then you make. Respect people and don't be rude. But most of all remember that Respect is something that you have to EARN.

Love: What would you say if I told you I counted your heartbeats to fall asleep? What about if I keep track of the minutes since the day we met? If I kiss your lips when you have the flu? If I drive an hour to see you for ten minutes? If I stay awake to rub you to sleep? What would you think of me if I love you when you scream? If I'm happy to freeze if it means you're warm? What would you say if I told you that the highlight of my every day is watching you smile? Would you hold me tighter? Maybe kiss me longer? Or would you say: "Me too."?
